He had a lot of character and a proper backstory, the first character to do so in a long time. Back in 2009, when Hero of the Rails first came out, i generally liked Hiro. I apologise for repeating myself on this occasion as i feel the need to justify my opinion. The thing that saves this episode from a generic rating is the crash. While this did happen to an extent, it was over exaggerated and Toby was too frail. James and Toby are at each end of the spectrum and could of played off each other really well. This episode is a real shame as it could of worked really well. It is just a rehash of the previous 2 seasons… 2/10 Oh yay! Now Misty Island Rescue has been turned into a plot device! While this episode could of worked in theory it is let down time and time again by the terrible writing. While he is a good choice for this episode, Percy is just as dim as he has always been. Good god that rhyming is getting on my nerves… If Percy wasnt busy it would of made far more sense to stay in the shed until he was needed. The Miller era is repetitive with its 3 strike formula, but doing the exact same episode two times in a row is taking it to a new level of cringeworthyness. He even grinds is teeth the same way as i do when i have to listen to the devil- i mean Dash, Bash and Ferdinand! The plot is pretty much useless as i will just end up repeating myself 20 times in a row. Well there goes that plan…Throughout this episode i can not help but sympathise with Gordon. ‘Try’ being the big word in that sentence…
Its easy to say ‘Oh My God this series is cr*p’, although this might be the case, i will do my best to try and make this review interesting. I Do Not Own Thomas the Tank!!
